Aiming to be Number One
Construction of the new state-of-the-art facility was recently
completed. It has added an impressive 125,000 square feet to the current plant,
bringing the combined total to 400,000 square feet. With the added facilities,
production has increased by 50% with a manufacturing capacity of 300 million
modular brick equivalents, making Brampton Brick the single largest clay brick
production facility in North America. This plant expansion reinforces the
company's resolve to strengthen its leadership position by investing in new
resources, to meet the needs of today's fast growing market.
Cutting Edge Technology
Brampton Brick's new plant incorporates state-of-the-art, robotic
technology from Ceric S.A. of France, the world's leading supplier of kilns and
brick-making equipment. The new facility includes a completely automated
production line with two brick making machines with robotically controlled
settings, three dryers, a steel encased tunnel kiln along with packaging
equipment.
